Summer Reading End of Summer Party!

After all their hard work, the members of the Summer Reading Club celebrated at the closing party on Monday August 25th. There were carnival games, snacks and a special performance by the Fort Lee Library Drama Club. Congrats everyone on your hard work this summer!

The Lizard Guys!

Lizard Guy "Jungle Jon" visited the library on Wednesday, July 30th and brought along some amazing friends. An African bullfrog, bearded dragon, box turtle, boa constrictor and even a few cockroaches made an appearance at this educational and very funny program.

Mad for Miley by Lauren Alexander

Review by Moon-Ho Kim, 12

This book is about a girl named Miley Cyrus. It talks about her life and where and when she was born, her likes and desires and her friend and family. There is also a part about her double life as Miley and Hannah Montana. The best part of the book are the pictures and the design. The only thing I didn't like was that it went off topic sometimes. I'd like it if the author wrote Mad for Miley 2! On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give this book a 10.

Summer Reading 2008!

June 30th was the first day for the Summer Reading Club 2008, "Catch the Reading Bug!" Everyone who signed up was able to add an ant to our picnic blanket and got a chance to spin the library Wheel of Fortune!

Ivy and Bean by Annie Barrows

Review by Christine Chow

Ivy and Bean us a story about two friends who never meant to like each other. This story takes place in the backyards of both Ivy and Bean. I liked this book because in the end Ivy and Bean become friends after all. On a scale of 1 to 10, I gave this book an 8. I really enjoyed it.
